Large amount of jewellery stolen in Brimington burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after a large amount of jewellery was stolen from a house in Brimington.

The offenders broke in through a side door at a house in Bernard Close between 9am on Monday, March 16 and 9am the following morning.

Among the items stolen were several bracelets, chains, earring sets and necklaces. One of the necklaces has a wolf face made out of leaf shapes, one has a miniature gold ingot with five small diamonds on it, while another gold necklace has four green stones attached on a hoop.

A gold ring with a gold dolphin shape was also taken, as was a gold ring with white and Champagne colour diamonds.

The offenders also took cash, a Parker pen and a Canon Powershot digital camera.

Detectives investigating the offence want to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have been offered similar items for sale.
