A Chesterfield woman has been charged with attempted murder

A woman has been charged with attempt murder in Chesterfield.

On Monday, April 6, police were called by staff at Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital to a man that had been admitted to the accident and emergency department with a stab wound to his neck.

The 31-year-old man was transferred to the Queens Medical Centre Hospital in Nottingham where he remains in a stable condition.

Terri Booker (28) of Devon Drive, Brimington was charged today (Tuesday, April 7) with attempted murder and is due to appear at North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates Court today.
