Appeal for witnesses to criminal damage in Buxton

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Buxton where a window to a house was smashed.

The terraced property, in Albert Court, Heath Road, had a window smashed by an offender who then ran off.

The incident happened at about 4.30pm on Friday, January 30 and police want to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the London Road area around that time.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a purple Fiat Punto, who may have witnessed the offence or seen the offender running off.
