Appeal for witnesses after cars damaged in Heanor

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car damaged a number of vehicles in Heanor.

On Sunday, January 18 at around 8pm a blue Ford Focus damaged 4 cars on Hands Road.

The passenger got out of the car and ran up Hands Road towards Heanor; he was described as wearing a black coat and a black flat cap. The driver drove off in the opposite direction.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Andrew Cocking at Ripley police station using the non-emergency 101 number.
