Sentimental watches and jewellery stolen from Oakwood house

Police are appealing for information after items of sentimental value were stolen from a house in Oakwood.

Burglars forced open a door at the back of a property in Porters Lane between 5.20pm and 8pm on Wednesday, January 28.

They stole items including two laptops, cash, a number of earrings, a bracelet and cufflinks.

Also taken was a gold wedding ring, a gold eternity ring with white and green stones across it, and a gold engagement ring with a white and silver band across the front with several diamonds in it.

A TW steel watch with a black wrist strap was taken along with a Rotary watch with a black face and Roman numerals at the hour marks.

Police investigating the break-in want to hear from anyone who may have been offered any similar items for sale, or may have information on their whereabouts.
