Posted on 6th February 2015

Police investigating a robbery at a Co-op store in Alvaston have released CCTV images of people they want to speak to about the offence.

Three men went into the Holbrook Road store and threatened staff before stealing cash, alcohol and a large amount of cigarettes.

No weapons were seen but staff were locked in a storeroom while the offenders escaped. No one was injured.

The suspects were dressed in dark clothing, with their hoods up and scarves concealing their faces.

CCTV images have now been released of men detectives want to trace in connection with the offence.

Anyone who recognises the clothing or any of the men should contact Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 53860/14.

You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

A media appeal was sent out at the time of the offence, which happened at about 7.20am on Sunday, December 21.
