Witness appeal after man is robbed in Chesterfield

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed as he was walking along a street in Chesterfield.

The 29-year-old victim was walking along Crow Lane, between the railway bridge and the junction with Piccadilly Road, when he was punched by a man.

The offenders then stole his wallet, which contained cash.

The victim believes three men may have been involved in the robbery, which happened at about 11.30pm on Sunday, January 18.

Police investigating the offence want to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have seen people acting suspiciously in the area.
