Police appeal for witnesses after woman had her bag stolen in Sinfin.

A woman got off the number 38 Arriva bus on Sinfin Lane on Thursday, February 12 at 5.45pm. She walked up Sinfin Lane and turned left onto Lynwood Road.

She was heading towards The Chase when she felt someone pull at her handbag. She let go and turned around to see two boys running off with her handbag towards The Chase.

The boys were described as aged between 8-9 years-old, they were approximately 4ft 6ins tall and they were both wearing hooded tops with the hoods worn up.

The bag was a pink leather-look handbag which contained a patchwork purse and a Samsung mobile phone.

Anyone with information is asked to ring Derbyshire police quoting crime number 6270/15.
