Police appeal for witnesses after three incidents in an area of Derby city centre.
Officers investigating three separate incidents that all took place around the Morledge and River Gardens area of Derby are appealing to the public for further information.
On Saturday, February 14 at 6.15am a 20-year-old woman was in Derby Bus Station when a man approached her and grabbed her around the neck.
The woman handed over money in fear and the man walked off in the direction of the intu shopping centre.
The man was described as having tanned skin, aged 30-40 years-old, of medium build, brown eyes and had dark stubble. He was wearing a lightweight walking jacket with the hood worn up covering half of his face.
The second incident took place on Sunday, February 15 at 9.30pm when a 43-year-old man was walking along Bass Recreation Ground on The Cockpitt. He walked from Station Approach and was heading towards the bus station, opposite the Derby Telegraph building when he was approached by a man.
The man punched the victim in the face which knocked him to the ground. He then continued to kick and punch him and then stole his phone and wallet.
He was described as black, 5ft 11ins tall, slim build, 25-years-old with a goatee beard. He was wearing jeans, a navy blue zip-up jacket and trainers.
The final incident happened on Monday, February 16 at 7.45am when a 12-year-old boy was walking along the River Gardens from the new council building, towards the Silk Mill.
He was approached by a white youth who looked around 17-18 years old who asked him for the time. He then threatened the boy and asked for his mobile phone. The boy did not hand over his phone and the youth walked off.
He was described as a slim build with black short hair that was brushed forward. He was wearing a light blue coat with a hood, black tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
