Man charged with firearms offences after High Peak warrants.

Two warrants were executed yesterday (Wednesday, February 18) in Doveholes and Harpur Hill and a man and a woman was arrested.

Derbyshire police together with the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Trident carried out a joint operation and four firearms and ammunition were recovered from the premises.

Dominic Birch (21) of Harpur Hill Road was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He is due to appear at High Peak Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates court today.

A 21-year-old woman was also arrested yesterday and has been released on police bail.
