Witness appeal after woman is threatened by van driver in Swadlincote

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman who was walking along a street in Swadlincote was threatened by a van driver.

The 20-year-old victim was walking along High Street, in Woodville, Swadlincote, when a white van pulled up next to her.

A man got out of the van and made threats to the woman, who then ran off.

The incident happened at about 5pm on Tuesday, February 17.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the incident take place.
