Man dies after Derby road crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on Burton Road in Derby that happened on Tuesday February 24.

At about 9.45pm a silver Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian collided on Burton Road near the Charnwood Medical Centre.

The 43-year-old male pedestrian, who lived in Derby, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he died yesterday morning (Wednesday February 25).

The car driver wasn’t injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact 101, quoting incident number 677 24/02/15.
