Safe stolen during break-in at care home in Kilburn

Burglars broke into the office of a care home in Kilburn and stole a safe and a large amount of cash.

Two men dressed in dark clothing were seen in the foyer at Kilburn Care Centre, off Dale Park Avenue, Kilburn.

It was later discovered that a safe containing a large amount of cash had been stolen from the office.

Both offenders were black and wore dark hooded tops with the hoods up. One of the men was described as being of stocky build and wore a red scarf over part of his face.

Police want to hear from anyone who might have information on the incident, which happened at about 11.10pm on Thursday, December 18.
