Police appeal for witnesses after a car was damaged in a supermarket car park.

On Friday, January 2 between 11.30pm and 1.10pm a woman parked her light blue Ford Fiesta in Morrisons car park on Coppice Side, Swadlincote.

The woman walked into town and then did some shopping in the supermarket, when she returned to her vehicle she noticed that a liquid had been thrown on her car causing the paintwork to blister.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jason Chamberlain at Swadlincote police station using the non-emergency 101 number quoting crime reference number 223/15.
