Jewellery and laptop among items stolen from house in Long Eaton

Police are appealing for information after burglars broke into a house in Long Eaton and stole items including jewellery and computer kit.

The offenders broke into a house in Collingwood Road through a back door and searched the property.

They stole items including a 9ct gold 14in curb chain, a variety of cufflinks, an Acer laptop computer, a Fujifilm digital camera and a pink knitted baby cardigan.

Travellers’ cheques were also taken in the burglary, which happened at about 9pm on Wednesday, December 31.

Witnesses or anyone who might have information on the offence should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 91/15.
