Body of a man found in South Derbyshire

The body of a man has been found in a nature reserve in South Derbyshire.

Derbyshire police, along with mountain rescue volunteers, were involved in the search for a 48-year-old man who had been reported missing from the Hilton area on Tuesday, January 13.

A body was found in a nature reserve near Willowpit Lane, Hilton, at about 4pm yesterday.

It is believed to be that of the person police were searching for. There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances and police have submitted a file to the coroner.
