Jewellery and laptops stolen in Chesterfield burglary

Burglars stole a television, two laptops and items of jewellery after breaking into a house in Chesterfield.

The offenders broke in through a back window of the house, in Swaddale Avenue, between 8.30am and 6pm on Thursday, January 22.

Among the items stolen were an LG television and two Toshiba laptops. Three rings were also taken – one was gold, with emerald and opal stones, the second was gold with sapphire and opal stones, and the third was gold with a sapphire stone.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around the time of the offence, or anyone who might have been offered similar items for sale since.
