Man suffers head injury after assault in Chesterfield

Police appeal for witnesses after a man is assaulted in Chesterfield.

On Saturday, January 10 at 11pm a man was out drinking in Brampton with his friends. He was on Chatsworth Road when he was assaulted by a man.

The man punched him in the face and knocked him onto the road outside the Red Lion pub.

An ambulance was called and the man was taken to hospital with a head injury.
