Man charged with two offences after iPro Stadium pitch incident

A man has been charged with running onto the pitch at the iPro Stadium following the match between Derby County and Nottingham Forest.

Joshua Gregory was arrested after allegedly running onto the pitch directly after the final whistle of the fixture, which took place on Saturday, January 17.

The 23-year-old has now been charged with pitch encroachment under the Football Offences Act 1991.

Gregory, of York Road, Chaddesden, has also been charged with a public order offence.

He was charged yesterday and bailed to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, February 3.
