One lane of the northbound side of the M1 has reopened to relieve stranded motorists following a large lorry fire.
However, all three northbound lanes are closed to new traffic so emergency repair work can be carried out.
All southbound lanes have already reopened.
The blaze started in the northbound carriageway at about 1pm today and debris spread across all northbound lanes and onto the southbound side.
At about 3pm, one lane of the southbound carriageway was partially reopened to allow stranded vehicles to start moving again.
By 4.20pm all lanes on the southbound side reopened.
Further updates will be posted in due course.
