Police are appealing for witnesses after a cash machine was stolen from a petrol station in Duckmanton.

At around 4am this morning (Friday, July 17) a JCB was used to steal an ATM machine from the Midland Co-operative Food shop on Chesterfield Road.

It is thought that a white Vauxhall Vivaro van was used in the incident that had its roof cut off. The ATM and the van were found by officers this morning near to Buttermilk Lane.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Chesterfield CID on 101 quoting incident number 94 of July 17.
