Man charged with drugs offences after suspected cannabis grow discovered

A man has been charged with producing cannabis after a suspected grow was found at a house in Langwith.

Officers found a large number of suspected cannabis plants and associated equipment at a house in Moorfield Lane on the morning on Saturday, May 30.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has now been charged with producing the class B controlled drug.

Hai Nguyen, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody and was due to appear at North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 1.
