Police appeal after two bag thefts in Derby

Police are appealing for information after two separate bag theft incidents in Derby.

At just after 6pm on Saturday, June 6, a man was walking along a riverside path near to Pride Parkway in Derby when he was approached by two men on pedal bikes.

One of the men assaulted the victim before taking his bag. The pair then cycled off in the direction of Derby bus station (CR/24103/15).

On a separate occasion, a woman was walking along Cambridge Street in Derby when she felt her handbag slip from her shoulder. She turned around to see an offender making off with her bag and its contents.

The incident happened sometime between 4.30pm and just after 5pm on Thursday, May 14 (CR/20227/15).
