Witness appeal after social club is broken into Mansfield village

Burglars stole cash, alcohol and food after breaking into a social club in a village near Mansfield.

The offenders forced open a fire door at New Houghton Working Men’s Club, in Rotherham Road, New Houghton, and then broke into the bar area inside.

The break-in happened between 12.30am and 6.30pm on Tuesday, March 10.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 10060/15.
