Jewellery stolen in daytime burglary at Chesterfield house

Burglars stole jewellery from a house in Chesterfield after forcing open a patio door during the day.

The offenders struck at a house in Peveril Road between 8.15am and 7.30pm on Saturday, March 14.

A gold ladies’ watch with a mother of pearl face and expandable wristband was stolen. It has a distinctive chip on the face.

A gold chain and a pair of gold hooped earrings were also taken in the burglary.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area during the day, or may have been offered similar items for sale.
