Sentimental jewellery stolen from house in Quarndon

Burglars stole a number of jewellery items, a games console and an iPad after breaking into a house in Quarndon.

The offenders broke in through a back window at a house off Cumberhills Road, between 1pm and 7.15pm on Thursday, March 5.

Jewellery stolen from inside included a single solitaire diamond ring, a white gold solitaire ring with two diamonds and a matching eternity ring, an 18ct gold engagement ring with three diamonds, and a white gold ring with three diamonds.

A Playstation 3 games console and an Apple iPad tablet were also stolen.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around the time of the offence. Officers believe a vehicle may have been used in the burglary, as the house is in a remote area.
