Re-appeal for witnesses after boy is assaulted in park

Police investigating the alleged assault of a boy near a park in Findern are appealing for more witnesses to come forward.

The 15-year-old victim was walking along a path off Heath Lane when he was assaulted by a group of teenagers.

He was punched several times to the face and kicked.

Since the assault, officers have interviewed four teenagers – two boys aged 15 and 16, and two girls aged 13 and 14.

They are now appealing for further witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The assault happened at about 8pm on Saturday, January 10.
