Posted on 23rd March 2015

Police are appealing for witnesses after three men forced their way into a house in Dronfield and demanded goods from the people inside.

The men kicked open the front door at a house in Fair View Road at about 8.30pm on Sunday, March 15.

They then threatened a man and told him to hand over items, but fled empty-handed a short time later.

One of the men was black, aged about 25, roughly 5ft 11ins, of medium build and with a Sheffield accent. He wore a black hoodie and a white scarf across the lower half of his face.

The two other men were of similar height and build but were in their early 20s and described as Asian, with thin moustaches.

A Ford Fiesta was spotted in the area prior to the offence taking place and police are keen to trace the owner of that vehicle.

Witnesses to the offence, or anyone with information that could help the inquiry, should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 10907/15.

You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
