Appeal for witnesses after man is left unconcious during a burglary in Dronfield

Police appeal for witnesses after a man was left unconscious when men entered his house and demanded money.

On Thursday, March 19 at approximately 8pm three men entered a house on Stubley Lane in Dronfield.

One of the men punched the home owner in the head and knocked him unconscious. The men then tied up the owner’s wife and a child.

The men stole an amount of cash from the property and a men’s Rolex watch.

When leaving the house they threatened a takeaway delivery driver and fled the scene in his car, a green Nissan Almeria which was later found abandoned.

The men were described as white with broad Sheffield accents. They were all in their late 20s to early 30s and were wearing tracksuits with the hoods worn up and balaclavas. They were all wearing bandanas, one blue, one white and one red and one of them was wearing a Superdry coat which was black with orange writing.
