Man robbed of his car in Creswell

Three men have been arrested following a robbery in Creswell.

At around 9.15pm on Friday, March 20, a 27-year-old man was dropping someone off at the Model Village.

As he began to pull away in his blue Volkswagan Touran, a group of men approached him and opened the car doors.

One man grabbed him and pulled him out of the car and the group drove off in his vehicle. It was later recovered in the area.

Two youths aged 17 and one 22-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of robbery, questioned and released on bail while inquiries continue.

Anyone who saw the incident, or the car being driven around after the theft, should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
