A drug dealer has been jailed for 18 months and has his car seized by the courts.
Davinder Torna was given eight months for possessing cannabis with intent to supply on July 29 and ten months for committing the same offence on November 17.
A forfeiture order was made against his Seat Leon, which is now in police hands.
Torna, of Kintyre Drive, Sinfin, was sentenced at Derby Crown Court on Tuesday, March 24.
The case against him began on July 29 when police were called to a disturbance at a house in Oaklands Avenue, Littleover.
They found Torna at the house in possession of two small bags of cannabis. His car was parked outside and officers found more cannabis inside and arrested the 22-year-old on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
He was questioned and released on bail while the drugs were tested. On November 17, police saw a Seat Leon being driven in Derby and, suspecting that the driver was speeding, pulled it over.
They found a small packet of cannabis in the centre console and Torna was arrested again.
