Man robbed of cash in a Derby alleyway

Two robbers attacked a man and stole cash from him in Derby.

At around 9.10pm on Wednesday, March 25, an 18-year-old man was walking along an alleyway that leads between Drewry Lane and Peet Street.

He was suddenly hit on the back of the head and he fell over. He saw two men standing over him, demanding his phone.

They kicked and punched him, taking a small amount of cash from him before running off.

The victim suffered a split lip and cuts and grazes to his hands.

He has described the robbers as Asian and about 5ft 10ins tall. One wore dark clothing while the other wore a grey quilted jacket. They both wore flat peak caps.
