Appeal after teenager is assaulted in Ripley

Police are appealing for information after an alleged indecent assault in Ripley.

The incident, which was reported on Tuesday, March 24, happened between 7pm and 7.30pm on Friday, March 6.

A 14-year-old girl was walking along Derby Road, heading out of Ripley, near to Derby Road Fish Bar, when she was approached by a man.

He allegedly walked alongside the girl, put his arm around her and touched her bottom. She told him to get off and pushed him away. The man then turned and walked back in the direction they had come from.

The man is described as Asian, around 5ft 3in tall, of a skinny build and aged in his early 20s. He had short dark hair and was wearing a suit.
