Wallet stolen during Derby street robbery

A man had his wallet stolen by three robbers as he walked along a street in Derby.

The 23-year-old victim was walking opposite a row of shops in Elton Road at about 6.30pm on Friday, April 24.

Three men approached him and dragged him to the floor. He was then kicked before having his wallet stolen.

One of the offenders was described as mixed race, aged about 19, around 5ft 10ins and wearing a purple hat.

The second was white, aged 19 or 20, about 6ft 1in, with short brown hair. He was wearing a black puffer jacket and blue jeans.

The third man was white, also aged 19 or 20, about 6ft 2ins, with short ginger hair and a moustache. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Witnesses or anyone with information on the robbery should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 17558/15.
