Two men charged with criminal damage after a number of incidents in West Hallam.

In the early hours of Sunday, May 24 police received reports of nine separate criminal damage incidents in West Hallam.

The damage ranged from windscreen wipers on cars being broken to windows being smashed at business premises.

Officers were called to reports of two men smashing the rear window of a car on Scargill Road. They conducted a search and arrested two men.

Timothy Pritchett (21) of Chertsey Court West Hallam and Adam Hall (28) of Radford Road, Nottingham were charged with damage to vehicles and will appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 8.

PC Russell Crooks from Ilkeston Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Criminal damage will not be tolerated and anyone caught committing damage will be dealt with accordingly.
