Man has mobile phone stolen in street robbery

A man was pushed to the floor and had his mobile phone stolen as he walked along a street in Littleover.

The 49-year-old victim was walking along a footpath running through a church yard, which connects Church Street to The Hollow.

He was shoved to the ground and suffered cuts to the face and an injury to his hand, both of which required hospital treatment.

His HTC mobile phone was stolen in the robbery, which took place at about 1am on Friday, October 9.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around that time, or who might have information that could help police.
