Teenager robbed of his mobile phone by man in Sinfin

A 13-year-old boy was robbed of his mobile phone as he walked with friends along a street in Sinfin.

The victim was walking along Glengarry Way with two of his friends at about 6.15pm on Saturday, October 10.

They were stopped by a man who asked the time, before then threatening them and demanding they hand over their mobile phones.

He followed them towards the subway running beneath Grampian Way, where the victim handed over his blue iPhone 5C.

The robber was white, about 5ft 2ins, of stocky build and with a shaven head. He was wearing a blue top with grey trousers.

Police investigating the offence want to hear from witnesses or anyone who knows the whereabouts of the phone.
