Large amount of jewellery stolen during Hatton burglary

Burglars stole a large number of rings, a games console and cash after breaking into a house in Hatton.

The offenders forced open a window at a house in Station Road between 6.45am and 6pm on Friday, September 25.

They searched the house and took a Playstation 3, some cash, a pair of horseshoe earrings and several diamond rings.

Police investigating the break-in want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity or may have been offered jewellery for sale since.
