Police appeal after car is stolen with dog inside.

This morning (Monday, January 18) at around 9.15am a man parked up his grey Toyota Hilux Invincible just off of Main Road, Whatstandwell.

He got out to open a gate and as he did so someone jumped in his car and drove off.

Still in the car was the owners brown Cocker Spaniel dog. The dog was later found on Riddings Park, West Street, Riddings.

A black Ford Focus was in the area at the time the car was stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO Chris Bannister on 101 quoting incident number 110 of January 18.
