Police release images of a man and woman they would like to speak to after woman has bank card and cash stolen.

On Tuesday, November 17 at 10am an 86 year-old woman was in Sainsbury’s supermarket on Peak Drive, Derby.

As she waited by the lift a couple approached her. When the lift arrived someone nudged her arm to encourage her into the lift.

The woman said she didn’t want to get in the lift as she was waiting for her husband.

The woman later realised that her bank card had been stolen from her pocket and when she contacted the bank money had been withdrawn from her account.

The man and woman were described as white, tall, smartly dressed and in their 40s. The man had a black small beard and the woman had curly hair.

Anyone with information or who recognises the couple is asked to contact PC Andrew Kendall-Edwards on 101 quoting crime number 49884/15.
