Police are appealing for information after a house was broken into in Glossop.

On Saturday, January 16, between 4.05pm and 4.40pm a house on Leicester Drive was broken into.

The female owner walked into the kitchen and was confronted by two men who emptied the contents of her handbag on the table.

The men stole cash and ran from the house.

One of the men was described as white, tall, 18-22 years-old with a dirty complexion and slick back dark hair.

The second man was white, shorter in height, 18-22 years-old with short dark hair. He was wearing a woollen cream jumper.
