Police have released footage of two men they want to speak to after several cars in Mackworth were badly damaged in one night, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Some of the damaged vehicles include a Fiat Punto, parked in Campion Street, which had its windscreen smashed and a Vauxhall Astra, parked in Langley Street, which had its rear window smashed.

Nothing was taken from any of the cars but the owners have been left with significant repair bills.

The crimes happened in the early hours of Tuesday, January 26 and police have been doing extensive CCTV inquires, forensic work and house to house visits in a bid to identify two men seen in the area at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Kris Sekhar on 101, quoting crime reference number 3692/16, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
