Pair of shoes among items taken in Normanton burglary

Posted on 6th April 2017

A burglar stole a pair of shoes and a bag containing bank cards after breaking into a house in Normanton.

The thief climbed through a window at the property, in Upper Dale Road, before taking the items.

The card was later used to withdraw money at a cashpoint in Normanton.

That burglary happened between 1am and 7am on March 29, and we’re linking it with another offence in the same area on that night.

Between 11pm on March 28 and 8am on the 29th, another house in Upper Dale Road was burgled, with the offender stealing a Sony Bravia television.

We want to hear from anyone who might have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area on the evening of the 28th or in the early hours of the 29th.

We would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered the television for sale since the break-ins.
