Can you help our robbery detectives?

Posted on 10th April 2017

Our detectives are appealing for witnesses to an early morning street robbery in which a taxi driver was forced to hand over cash.

The victim had just returned from a night shift when he was approached in Crewe Street, Normanton, and threatened.

He handed over takings and a TomTom sat nav in the robbery, which happened at about 4.45am and 5am on March 26.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery, or who might have been offered a sat nav for sale since it happened, should call DC Julie Proctor on 101, quoting reference 17000126685.
