Two men arrested after a drugs warrant at a house in Derby

This morning (Friday, April 21) at 9am our officers from the South Proactive Unit attended a house on Fleet Street in Derby to conduct a drugs warrant.

A search was conducted of the property and a large amount of suspected Class B drugs that is thought to have been imported from the USA and a large amount of cash were recovered.

Two men aged 18 and 19 were arrested on suspicion of importing a controlled drug with intent to evade a prohibition/restriction, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and money laundering offences.

The men are currently in police custody and investigations are continuing.
