Appeal after woman is allegedly assaulted in Borrowash

We are appealing for information after a woman was allegedly assaulted in Borrowash.

The incident happened at a cemetery off Balmoral Road between 3.50pm and 4.20pm on Thursday, April 13.

Three teenaged girls allegedly tried to grab a woman’s handbag. They got hold of her arm, and kicked and hit her.

Nothing was stolen but the victim suffered a nose bleed and soft tissue damage to her knee and shoulder.

Two of the girls are described as being white with brown hair. One was wearing a dark hooded top with a logo on the front and the other was wearing glasses, jeans and trainers.

The third girl is described as being mixed race and wearing a white top, cropped jeans and sandals.
