Witnesses sought following a sexual assault in Derby

We’re appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Derby.

At around 4.45pm on Sunday, July 30, a woman was found at the roadside in Rosehill Street, Normanton, at the junction of Depot Street.

She told officers she had been attacked near to where she was found.

We are trying to trace any witnesses, or anyone who saw the man or woman in the area at the time.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation while inquiries continue.
