Posted on 26th August 2017

Two men have been arrested and suspected drugs recovered after we executed three simultaneous warrants in Chaddesden.

On Thursday, August 17 we raided two houses in Perth Street and one in Fieldsway Drive. At one Perth Street house, a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and money laundering.

A woman at the house was given a cannabis caution for having a small amount of cannabis.

Cash and what officers believe to be drugs were recovered.

At the other house on that street, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and money laundering and cash and suspected drugs were again seized.

The action at this house led officers to search a house in Conniston Crescent, where officers found what they believe to be cannabis.

At a house in Fieldsway Drive, a 20-year-old woman was given a cannabis warning after a small amount of the drug was found.

The two arrested men have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
