Unique jewellery stolen from a house in Spondon

A large amount of jewellery has been stolen from a house on Dale Road.

The burglary happened between 2.50pm and 4pm on Wednesday, December 20.

The jewellery that was taken included necklaces, earrings and rings.

Police staff investigator Lindsey Scribbins said: “One particular piece was a bracelet which was made of elephant shaped links; this was bought for the owner by her husband on their honeymoon and is of great sentimental value.”
