Shotguns stolen from a home in Palterton

Three shotguns have been stolen from a house in Palterton.

The homeowner, who has a licence for the weapons, left his house in Main Street, at 1pm on Thursday, February 9. When he returned at 4pm he found the back door had been smashed.

A distinctive 12 bore Beretta with a ported barrel was stolen along with a 16 bore William Evans side by side shotgun. Both weapons are gun metal grey. A 20 bore over and under Browning was also taken.
